Brad Fox Honored with State House Resolution
The Fox family and Plymouth officials were in Harrisburg to honor the fallen police officer.

Plymouth Township Police representatives, elected officials, and the Fox family were in Harrisburg Tuesday as the house unanimously passed a resolution in honor of fallen Plymouth Township Police Officer Bradley Fox.
House Resolution 276 was authored by State Representative Marcy Toepel, who is the representative in New Hanover,

“Our cherished freedoms and liberties would not exist without the sweat and blood of some 800,000 professionals whose simple motto is: ‘To protect and to serve,’” said Toepel. “Unfortunately, Plymouth Township, Montgomery County, and all of Pennsylvania lost a hero when Officer Fox was tragically killed in the line of duty on Sept. 13, 2012, the eve of his 35th birthday.”
Many members of the Fox family, and Plymouth Township representatives, were on hand for the presentation-Fox’s wife, Lynsay; his parents, Tom and Kathy; his father-in-law, Mark Matozzi; Plymouth Township Chief of Police Joseph Lawrence; Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman; Plymouth Township Council President Sheldon Simpson; council member Dean Eisenberger; as well as officers from the Plymouth Township Police Department.

Toepel was also the sponsor of the ‘Brad Fox Law,’ which increases the pentalty for those who illegally put guns in the hands of criminals.
“Officer Fox’s legacy will live on through the memories of his loved ones, the lives of his two beloved children, his many accomplishments in his service to his country and also in the law books,” said Toepel.
