Cecilia A. Butera, of Conshohocken, died on Nov. 1 at Brandywine Senior Suites. She was 89.
Born in Conshohocken, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Gorczycka) Kowalski.
Butera was the widow of Harry A. Butera.
Butera attended St. Mary's Elementary School in Conshohocken and later was employed at Markel's Corp. for 20 years.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, traveling, and loved polka music.
She is survived by her two daughters, Carole Culbreth and Elaine Petrecz; three grandchildren, Marisa and Christopher Culbreth, Jackie Downing; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by all her siblings, Chester, Charles Kowalski, Mary Turek, Loretta Licwinko, Clara Reimer, and Sabina Krzykowski.
A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 10:30 a.m. at Ss. Cosmas and Damian Church, 209 West. Fifth Ave., Conshohocken.
The Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at church.
Entombment will be in St. Matthew Mausoleum.
