Colonial Elementary Creates Human Autism Ribbon
The photo was in honor of Autism Awareness Month in April.

Students from Colonial Elementary School, who have been learning about autism throughout the month of April, created a human autism ribbon on Friday.
In honor of Autism Awareness Month, a group of 500 people, including staff and parents, dressed in red, yellow and blue to make a human ribbon in support of the cause.

“We are also lucky because in Colonial School District, we respect the differences among us and we celebrate everyone’s strengths," said Colonial Elementary School teacher Bridget Craig to school staff. "We know that Autism is out there because it is here with us working and learning each day,”
