Colonial SD to Hold Art Show Opening Thursday

The Colonial School District will kick off its new art show, “Drawing Connections,” with an opening reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Colonial Elementary School.

The artwork from kindergarten to twelfth grade will be on display on the first floor of Colonial Elementary through April 18.

“Drawing Connections” helps to show how Colonial students in all levels use art to think critically, solve problems and “creatively make connections across the curriculum,” according to the shool district.

Colonial Elementary is located at 230 Flourtown Rd. in Whitemarsh Township. Refreshments will be provided.
