Construction Thefts and a Purse Theft Recently Reported by the Whitemarsh Township Police Department

The Whitemarsh township police responded to the following thefts on July 25:

Theft one: a construction storage area in Lafayette Hill

After an early morning complaint about a theft, a police officer met contractors at a construction storage area at 4000 Fox Hound Drive in Lafayette Hill, according to a police report.  According to police, the area had been locked away by two pad locks that had apparently been cut during the night.  There were trailers inside, three of which had locks that had been cut.  The locks were thick and had apparently been cut with a power saw.  Tools were missing from the trailers.  Behind the initial trailers were other trailers whose locks were cut, and a 1989 Ford F250 was missing, as well, according to the police report.
