Cops Are Sporting 'Staches for Brad Fox
Have you noticed Tom Selleck lookalikes patrolling the streets? Here's why.

No, local police officers have not found a new idol in Magnum PI.
If you're wondering why so many are sporting the "Tom Selleck look," as Whitemarsh Towship Board of Supervisors Chairman Bob Hart put it when officers attended last week's township meeting, they're doing it in honor of fallen Plymouth Township Police Officer Bradley Fox.

The officers only have a week left before the Brad Fox 'Stache Bash, in which they will be judged for their "creative" facial hair.
Almost 200 police officers throughout Montgomery County and Philadelphia have been growing out mustaches since holding a shave-off on April 1, each to raise money for the Fox family, which grew by one in March when Bradley Fox Jr. was born.

"Unfortunately, some are growing in much faster than others," joked Whitemarsh Township Police Chief Michael Beaty. "But that's part of the fun."
The 40-days of facial hair will be celebrated at LuLu Shriners in Whitemarsh on May 10 with a benefit including music, food and drinks, and prizes for the best 'staches. Tickets are $25 per person.
