Dorothy A. Bonanni, Member St. Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill

Dorothy A. (Rausch) Bonanni, of Blue Bell, formerly of Philadelphia, died Monday, Nov. 18 at her son’s home in Blue Bell. She was 88.

Bonanni was a graduate of Little Flower High School and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital School of Nursing, where she received her RN degree.

She was a member of St. Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill, and a former member of St. Mary of the Eternal Church in Philadelphia.  

Bonanni was a member of the Suburban Dog Training Club and also enjoyed showing dogs.

She is survived by two daughters, Christine Chapman of Philadelphia and Germaine Chesky of Louisiana; one son, Raymond Bonanni of Blue Bell; and eight grandchildren.

Friends may call Thursday, Nov. 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lownes Family Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill; and Friday, Nov. 22 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill. A funeral Mass will follow.

Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham.
