Drunken Plymouth Man Had Stun Gun, Handcuff Key, Police Say

The man was allegedly involved in a two-vehicle crash at Butler Pike and Flourtown Road.

A Plymouth man was found in possession of a stun gun and a handcuff key during a DUI arrest after a two-vehicle crash on Jan. 30 just before 9 p.m., according to Whitemarsh Police.

Michael W. Park, 44, of Plymouth Township, was involved in a two-car crash at the intersection of Butler Pike and Flourtown Road, where he allegedly exhibited signs of intoxication and failed two field sobriety tests, police said.

According to police, officers found a hand-held “Blackout 5,000,000” stun gun in his vehicle and a handcuff key on a necklace around Park’s Neck. Both were seized.

According to Pennsylvania Code, a stun gun is considered an “offensive weapon.”

DUI charges are pending lab results.
