Elderly Man Hospitalized After Crash In Plymouth Township

A man walking down the road was seriously injured after he was hit by a vehicle.

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, PA — An elderly man was hospitalized after an accident in Plymouth Township last week, police said.

The incident occurred on Dec. 19 at around 5:51 a.m. on Germantown Pike.

A 90-year-old man was walking down the road near Walton Road when he was struck in the eastbound lanes.

Plymouth Community Ambulance Association responded to the scene and transported him to Jefferson Abington Hospital.

He survived the crash, and is listed in critical but stable condition.

The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with authorities.

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol Unit of the Plymouth Township Police Department.
