Ex-PWHS Coach Loses Bid to Shorten Probation
Michael Dolan, who was jailed for inappropriate contact with a minor, wanted to end his probation early.

Former Plymouth Whitemarsh High School swim coach Michael Dolan has been denied his request for early termination of his five-year probation for unlawful contact with a minor, according to the Times Herald.
Patch reported previously that Dolan, 34, was convicted in 2009 of sending sexually explicit text messages to one of the high school students he coached, according to police.

Dolan served roughly two years in prison, during which time he was a “model prisoner,” according to his attorney.
Assistant District Attorney Samantha Cauffman said Dolan’s request was “self-centered,” and that his victim still suffers from Dolan’s conduct.
