Fall Job Fair Coming To Plymouth Meeting Mall On Oct. 11

PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — Employers and job-seekers are invited to the next job fair and expo at Plymouth Meeting Mall in October.

MontcoWorks, PA CareerLink of Montgomery County, and the Chamber of Commerce are holding the job fair on Oct. 11 from noon to 5 p.m., the county said.

Employers from across the region may register now to exhibit.

“While Montgomery County has the second lowest unemployment rate in the commonwealth at 3.4%, that rate equates to 15,700 unemployed residents,” said Jennifer Butler, Executive Director of MontcoWorks. “We are excited to partner with the chamber to once again offer this venue for our employers who need workers to connect to these potential candidates who need work.”

The county welcomed more than 250 attendees at a similar event February.

Those looking for a job can attend by car or use public transit.

Employers may also speak to representatives from PA CareerLink® Montgomery County’s Business Services Team, to learn more about free ongoing recruitment support as well as access to on-the-job training and incumbent worker training funds, the county said.
