Familiar Faces, New Names Enter Colonial School Board Race
Twelve residents, including former candidates for Conshohocken Mayor and State House, submitted petitions to represent their area to the Colonial School Board.

Twelve residents will face off this election season for the five open spots on the Colonial School Board, according to preliminary petition receipts at the Montgomery County Election Board.
Incumbents Kathleen Oxenberry, Alan Tabachnick, Bernie Brady and Beth Suchsland are running for re-election to four-year terms, and Jennifer Damato Dow, Donald Morrison, Michael Ludwig, Rachael Morrison and Karen Ludwig have also submitted petitions for the positions.

For the two-year term, Republican Lillian Colletti will face off with Democrat and recently appointed school board member Heather Palmer in the Primary Election – they both submitted petitions to be placed on the Republican ballot, but only Palmer is on the Democrat ballot.
Republicans Mike Ludwig, who ran to represent the 148th Legislative District in 2012, Karen Ludwig, Colletti, Brady and Rachael Morrison only submitted petitions for the Republican ballot.

Donald Morrison, who held a kick-off fundraiser earlier this spring for his bid to be mayor of Conshohocken Borough, opted instead to run for school board, and only filed on the Democratic ticket.
Democrats Oxenberry, Tabachnick, Suchsland and Damato Dow filed petitions to appear on both the Republican and Democrat ballot.
