Fire Scare Evacuates North Lane Apartment Building

Several area fire companies responded to a call on the 100 block of West North Lane for a reported building fire Tuesday night.

Dozens of residents were standing outside as firefighters were in building 106 of the North Lane Apartments; no smoke was visible from the street during the fire call around 10:30 p.m.

Emergency service vehicles were on the scene for roughly 40 minutes, according to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety.
