Fire Scare Evacuates Spring Mill Corporate Center Building

Dozens of employees were evacuated around an hour on Friday morning when light smoke was detected in 1010 Spring Mill Ave., part of the Spring Mill Corporate Center in Whitemarsh Township.

Spring Mill, Barren Hill and Lincoln Fire companies responded to the scene, as well as three Whitemarsh police vehicles.

Fire Police were directing traffic in the area.

According to a Spring Mill Fire Co. Official, light smoke was detected upstairs and fire fighters were working to find the cause of the smoke. The scene was cleared, according to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, just before 11:30 a.m.

Last month, a charred Pizza caused an evacuation in another Spring Mill Corporate Center Building.
