First Responders, Brad Fox Honored on PWHS Baseball Hats

The players presented this year's hats, marked with Brad Fox's badge number, to Plymouth Police Chief Joe Lawrence.

Representatives from Plymouth, Whitemarsh and Conshohocken Police Departments were on hand when the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Baseball Team announced at Monday’s Plymouth Township Council meeting that they would honor fallen officer Brad Fox, and all first responders, this season by wearing Fox’s badge number, 178, on their hats for each game.

Chris Manero, the varsity baseball coach and oversees baseball operations for Colonial School District, addressed council before three of the hats were presented to Plymouth Township Police Chief Joseph Lawrence.

“We wanted to show the high school baseball team is not just a part of the high school community, but is very much a part of the local community as well,” Manero said.

Having Fox’s badge number on the back of the team hats is “ a tribute to him and all of the officers in Plymouth, Whitemarsh and Conshohocken who keep our communities safe,” said Manero.
