Great PA Day Trip Location Nominated for Coolest Small Town

Lititz, less than an hour and half from Norristown, is in the running for Budget Travel Magazine's title of America's Coolest Small Town.

Budget Travel Magazine has narrowed the search for America's Coolest Small Town, and, after 924 nominations, the 15 finalists include a Pennsylvania town that is a perfect day trip from Montgomery County.

Lititz, less than an hour and a half from Norristown, offers visitors costumed tour guides of the Lititz Historical Foundation, as well as "a museum that includes Native American artifacts, a replica of a Moravian home, and a heritage garden," according to Budget Travel.

Within walking distance of the Lititz Historical Foundation, visitors can tour the original Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery, where the hard pretzel was invented.
