Guppy's Takes Third Place at Irish Coffee Contest
Swedesburg Fire Co. may have won the Irish Coffee Contest last night at the AOH in Bridgeport, but we have a look at Conshohocken's own Guppy' Good Times award-winning coffee and table.
Swedesburg Fire Co. took first place at the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH)'s Irish Coffee Contest on Thursday night, followed by last year's champ Screwballs of Bridgeport in second place, and Conshohocken's own Guppy's Good Times rounding out the winner's circle in third place.
Almost a dozen area restaurants, bars and fire houses participated in the coffee contest at the AOH Club in Bridgeport, which was held in conjunction with the Conshohocken St. Patrick's Day Parade - all contestants took out a full-page ad in the parade ad book.

In addition to bringing their finest coffee, liquors and snacks, the contestants also showed their Irish spirit with festive table displays, which were also judged.
This year's Parade Grand Marshal, Tom Coughlin, judged the coffee, along with grand marshals from previous years.
