Guppy's In Conshohocken To Open Florida Location

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — One of Conshohocken's favorite bars and eateries is opening up a second location.

But instead of expanding to the city, South Jersey, Delaware County, or the shore, Guppy's Good Times is heading just over a thousand miles south to an island in Florida.

The new establishment will be located on Longboat Key, on 5610 Gulf Of Mexico Drive.

Guppy's has long been an icon on 2 Maple Street in Conshohocken, drawing rave reviews for its expanded menu including craft burgers, locally sourced dishes, sushi, vegan options, and more.

The new Florida location aims to be open by Sept. 29 for the Eagles game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, whose stadium is just a short drive away.

Murals and designs are already completed for the bar, which notes on its wall that it is just 87 steps from the beach and 1,088 miles from the Linc.

Longboat Key is about 80 minutes south of Tampa Bay, or for Phanatics in the know, about 80 minutes south of the Phillies spring training complex in Clearwater.
