Illegal Ridge Pike U-Turn Leads to DUI Arrest, Police Say

An Allentown man was arrested for DUI in Plymouth Township.

 

John Raymond Strohl, of Allentown, was arrested for driving under the influence after allegedly making an illegal U-turn on Ridge Pike, according to Plymouth Township Police.

Strohl, 55, of Allentown, Pa., was traveling westbound on Ridge Pike when he allegedly made an illegal U-turn at Alan Wood Road and was pulled over by Plymouth Police, according to a report.

An officer stated that Strohl smelled of alcohol and his speech was slurred, according to the report.

Strohl failed two field sobriety tests, and blew a .113 blood-alcohol level, according to police.
