Irish Coffee Contest to Kick Off St. Paddy’s Weekend

The event, held at the AOH Club in Bridgeport, will feature Irish coffees from local spots.

 

Conshocken’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration weekend will kick off with the Eighth-Annual Irish Coffee Contest at the Ancient Order of Hibernians Club (AOH) in Bridgeport on March 14 at 7 p.m.

According to event organizer Lenore Biscotti, local restaurants including Guppy’s, Spamps, Chicks, the Ribhouse, the Elks Club, Screwballs, the Goodwill and Swedesburg Fire Companies and the AOH, Notre Dame Div. 1 Pub have entered the contest this year.

Admission to the event is free, and samples are available to attendees, Awards are given for first, second and third place winners, and the first-place winner is invited to participate in the Conshohocken St. Paddy’s Day Parade on March 16 at 2 p.m.

All participants took out a full-page ad in the Conshohocken Parade ad book.
