Lafayette Hill Man Cited for Public Drunkenness, Police Say

The man allegedly drank a pint of vodka before passing out on a park bench.

 

A Lafayette Hill man was cited for public drunkenness after allegedly passing out on a bench at Kline Park just after 8 p.m. on April 18, according to the Whitemarsh Township Police.

Officers responded to Kline Park near Ash Lane for the report of a suspicious male, who was believed to be homeless and intoxicated, according to police.

Officers located Stanley Haraczka, 34, of Birch Drive in Lafayette Hill, who was allegedly passed out on a bench on the 200 block of Ash Lane.

Haraczka refused to answer several questions, though he admitted to drinking a pint of Vodka, police said, and he had fight with his girlfriend who lived nearby, police said.

Officers said that when they contacted Haraczka’s girlfriend, she refused to take responsibility for him.

Haraczka was taken to the Whitemarsh Township police station until his parents picked him up later in the night, police say.
