Local Gymnasts Win State Champion Titles
Plymouth Whitemarsh High School students Mona Hoorfar and Phoebe Flint both took home gold medals last month.
Two Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School students, Mona Hoorfar and Phoebe Flint, members of the Mannettes Gymnastics Team at the Philadelphia Gymnastics Club in Conshohocken, won state champion gymnastic titles in March.
Hoorfar, a senior, won the all-around title in the Advanced Prep Optional Level State Championship on March 15 at the National Guard Armory.

Flint, a junior, won first place in vault, bars, beam and all-around, earning the state champion title at the Level Nine PA State Championship in Williamsport, Pa. on March 23. Flint will compete at the Level Nine, Region Seven meet at Ursinus College in Mid-April.
Philadelphia Gymnastics Center is located on Portland Road in West Conshohocken.
