Mission Kids Holding ‘Mission Possible’ Fundraiser Thursday

The event, hosted by CBS3 News Anchor Pat Ciarrocchi, will raise money for the Montgomery County child advocacy center.

 

Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center will hold its Fifth Annual “Mission Possible” event on Thursday at the Radisson Hotel in King of Prussia to raise money for the Montgomery County non-profit, aimed at helping child victims of abuse.

CBS3 News Anchor Pat Ciarrocchi will host the event to raise funds for the East-Norriton based center, which was co-founded by Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman to provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team response to allegations of child abuse in a child-friendly setting.

The event will be held from 6-9 p.m. in the grand ballroom of the hote - tickets are $150 per person, and can be purchased at the door.

A silent auction will be featured at the event, which includes a VIP Flyers package with a Zamboni ride, two club-box seats to Eagles v. Dallas, gift certificates to high-end restaurants, a sight-seeing flight of the Jersey Shore, a Gucci messenger bag, a Macbook Pro, and dinner for eight from Max Hansen Caterers, among many other items.

In 2012, Ferman was named the L'Oreal Paris Women of Worth national honoree, earning Mission Kids a $25,000 donation. To watch a Mission Kids Video relating to the Women of Worth campaign, click here.

“Mission Kids is designed let all professionals responding to child abuse work together to protect that child and hold perpetrators accountable, and to make sure the child gets follow-up care,” Ferman says in the video.
