Montco Man Solicited Preteen Girls Online, Made Child Porn: Feds
Authorities said he told the girls what to do and then recorded it.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A Montgomery County has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after federal authorities said he solicited underage girls for sexual material on the Internet and also shared separate child pornography.
Kevin Kelly Murray, 30, of Oreland, was convicted of child exploitation and child porn. He will also face 15 years of probation following his prison sentence.
Murray used the online chat service Omegle from early 2019 through fall 2020 to upload and share videos, which the U.S. Attorney's Office said "depicted sexual abuse and exploitation of prepubescent children."

Authorities were first alerted in Sept. 2020 when an Omegle content moderator noticed the clips and contacted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Murray later told police in an interview that he had also solicited preteen girls on the Omegle platform, often asking them to perform sexual acts and then recording images and videos on his computer, authorities said.
