An ex-Sacred Heart Day School Tennis Coach sent inappropriate messages, kissed student, Montco DA says.

The Conshohocken man accused of sending inappropriate text messages and kissing a 15-year-old Sacred Heart Day School student had been sending texts to the girl for months, according to the affidavit of probable cause.
Charles M. Meredith IV, 52, of the 200 block of Balligomingo Road, was arraigned Friday morning before District Judge Francis J. Bernhardt and charged with corruption of a minor, a misdemeanor.
According to court documents, the juvenile victim and her mother filed a police report with Radnor Township Police on Oct. 21, this, following an incident on Oct. 19 in which Meredith — the girl’s tennis coach — allegedly sent a text message to the girl saying how “hot” the girl looked and that the girl would be Meredith’s “dessert” following a tennis team dinner.

The victim also said that Meredith had been sending texts to her “over the past few months,” had told her that he could get her drinks at bars, and would sometimes brush up against her, according to the affidavit.
And, in August, the victim alleges that Meredith drove her to a Conshohocken gym following tennis practice to meet a personal trainer; when the personal trainer was not there, Meredith told the victim that he would take her out for ice cream. According to the affidavit, while in the car, Meredith put the vehicle in park, leaned over and put his hands around the victim’s neck and began kissing her on the mouth for two to three minutes. Meredith then drove to an ice cream shop in Conshohocken, bought ice cream for the victim and two of her friends, and told the victim not to tell anyone about the incident, according to the report.
