A Driver Has Died After A Morning Crash in Montgomery County Tuesday
Police in Plymouth Township said one person has died following a three-vehicle crash in Plymouth Township on Tuesday morning.

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, PA — One person is dead, and three others are injured following a three-vehicle crash in Plymouth Township on Tuesday morning.
Police, fire and EMS personnel were dispatched on Tuesday around 8:49 a.m. to a scene of a vehicle entrapment with fire after an accident at the intersection of Germantown Pike and Virginia Road, according to the Plymouth Township Police Department.
The driver of one of the vehicles died as a result of the crash and three other people were injured and required hospital transport, police said.

Two of the occupants were taken by Plymouth Community Ambulance Association to Jefferson Abington Hospital while a third injured individual was taken to Chestnut Hill Hospital-Tower Health by Whitemarsh Community Ambulance Association.
The injuries suffered by the three individuals are believed to be non-life-threatening.

Police are not yet releasing the identity of the driver who died in the crash as next of kin has not yet been notified.
The Plymouth Township Police Department's Highway Patrol Unit and Criminal Investigations Division are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
