New Restaurant Coming To Former Location Of Ft. Washington Friendly's

FORT WASHINGTON, PA — A new bar and restaurant is slated to open later this summer at the location of the former Friendly's in Fort Washington.

The establishment, named The Fort, will open up at the location on 325 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Friendly's shut down several years ago and the building has not been in use since then.

A menu has not yet been published, though the facility does have a liquor license and has added an outside dining deck since the Friendly's closed.

An estimated opening date is sometime in August.
