New Wawa Opens In East Norriton

Wawa is continuing to expand in Montgomery County.

EAST NORRITON, PA — Wawa is continuing to expand in Montgomery County.

The newest location of the popular sandwich and convenience chain is a large store in East Norriton Township. The store is located on 14 E. Germantown Pike.

A grand opening was held on Thursday featuring local officials, first responders, a fire truck, and even Wawa's official mascot, Wally Goose.

"What a fun morning at the grand opening of the East Norriton Wawa!" State Rep. Gregory Scott said. "Starting the day with a Wawa coffee, community, and Wally Goose, wouldn't have it any other way!"

Hundreds of residents attended throughout the day, and the first 100 customers before 8 a.m. received a free t-shirt.

Wawa also highlighted their Wawa Foundation Breast Cancer Awareness Fund, which aims to support local community nonprofits working to fight breast cancer. The Fund has up to $200,000 to award. Details are available online here.
