News Next Door: Occupy Norristown Finds More Supporters
A national seniors group has teamed up with the Occupy Norristown movement for a Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid demonstration today at noon.
The National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare has issued a release announcing it will team with Occupy Norristown at a public demonstration (on Novemeber 13th) and assembly today at the courthouse. The group plans to rally against the threat of cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid as part of federal deficit reduction.
