On Tap Philly Replacing Finn McCool’s, Hiring Staff
The Ambler bar aims to become the 'destination for all beer lovers.'

As if renovations at Brittingham’s and the sale of the General Lafayette Inn weren’t enough, beer lovers in the area have another reason to rejoice.
Finn McCool’s on Butler Ave in Ambler is reopening "soon" as On Tap Philly. According to the business’s Facebook page, the new bar will feature rotating beers on tap, nightly events and an outdoor patio.

A 'Philly-Themed' bar and restaurant, the new spot will feature over 15 televisions and "up to 72 Beers on tap in order to become the destination for all Beer Lovers," according to Craiglist.
The business is currently looking for servers, hosts and line cooks; anyone interested should e-mail ontapphilly@yahoo.com.

According to the ad, the new hires are "immediate needs," ad training will star this week.

Finn McCool’s closed in the spring of 2012 after a wall collapsed. In January, we reported that management was interviewing staff to re-open soon, but one of the owners was tragically killed in a home invasion.
According to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, there is no pending liquor license transfer on the address from “Finn McCools Enterprises, LTD.”
