See what council will discuss Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Conshohocken Borough Council will discuss several issues at its monthly business meeting at 7 p.m. tonight at Borough Hall, and will hear a presentation by its pension investment advisor at the beginning of the meeting.
Ward 1 councilman Raj Gupta, chair of the finance, transportation and economic development committee, will ask council to consider appointing a traffic study engineer firm to work with developers, borough, county and Whitemarsh for proposed projects along the river, among other items.

Ward two councilman Ike Griffin, head of the public safety committee, will ask borough to consider awarding a ladder truck refurbishing for just over $419,000, and other items.
Under Ward six councilman and public works committee chair Robert Stokley’s report, council will consider awarding several bids, including road program, paving projects and the Fayette Street Infill Project.

Ward three councilman and board president Paul McConnell will present several items from the buildings committee, including a two-year extension for the borough’s administrative office lease, consideration to pay the Montgomery County Redevelopment Authority $27,000 for property around the Outbound Station, and authorizing the borough to condemn property by eminent domain for the Conshohocken Rowing Center.

On March 27, council will hold a special meeting to hear public comment on the proposed text amendment to the zoning code regarding the Fayette Street Wawa.
