Phillie Phanatic to Visit Plymouth-Whitemarsh EcoFest

The Phillie Phanatic will be on hand to show residents the positives of being environmentally conscious at the 2013 EcoFest at the Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School West Cafeteria on Feb. 28.

The event, sponsored by Whitemarsh and Plymouth Townships, the Colonial School District and Whole Foods of Plymouth Meeting, will include hands-on activities for kids, displays and information on environmentally conscious organizations, giveaways, and food for purchase at a nominal cost.

The event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the Phanatic will visit between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., according to the Colonial School District.
