Phillie Phanatic Visits Plymouth Whitemarsh EcoFest

The annual event featured local vendors that emphasize eco friendliness, including Whole Foods.

 

The Phillie Phanatic stopped by Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School on Friday night for the Third Annual EcoFest, which brought together over a dozen eco-friendly vendors.

The event, sponsored by Whitemarsh and Plymouth Townships, the Colonial School District and Whole Foods of Plymouth Meeting, offered hands-on activities for kids, displays and information on environmentally-conscious organizations, giveaways, and food.

Vendors included the Conshohocken Elementary School PTO, which offers Conshy Kids Consignment, the school's fundraiser that features "gently used" bargains.

Other vendors included artists, William Jeanes Library, Pits Pats Soaps, Riverbend Environmental Education, Plymouth Township Environmental Advisory Board, SaveATree, Native Return, and Rain Gardens.
