Plymouth Township Police Accepting Cop Camp Applications

The Plymouth Township Police Department will hold its annual Cop Camp Aug. 6 through Aug. 10 this summer.

 

Children between the ages of nine and 12 at the start of camp are eligible to apply for the camp, which will run daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Applications are available on the Plymouth Township website

“We keep it simple and make it fun for them,” Ofc. Michael Cassidy, who directed the camp in 2012, said at last year’s graduation.

The list of activities included blowing up watermelons with a bomb squad, setting of smoke grenades, lifting finger prints, performing room entries, and more.

Registration forms must be submitted by May 31.
