Plymouth-Whitemarsh-Conshy Primary Election Guide

Primary Election Day is Tuesday - here is your go-to-guide on what to expect.

 

Republicans and Democrats from Plymouth, Whitemarsh and Conshohocken will head into the polls Tuesday between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. to select the candidates to appear on their respective ballots in November.

Local Elections:

The only local contested elections on Tuesday will be school board, in which several Republicans and Democrats cross-filed to appear on both ballots.

In Conshohocken, there are challengers for each of the three council seats up for grabs, but no Primary Election Day battles.  For more on that race, click here.

In Plymouth Township, Republican Ron Trask will challenge Democrat Maria Weidinger for the Plymouth Township Council At Large position.  Republican Dean Eisenberger will face challenger Christina Minecci in Ward 1, and Republican Debbie Goldstein will face Democrat Martin Higgins to replace outgoing councilman Vince Gillen in Ward 3.

In Whitemarsh Township, Republican Jim Totten is seeing a re-match against incumbents Robert Hart and Melissa Sterling, who currently serve as the chair and vice chair of the Board of Supervisors, respectively. Jack Williams is also running on the Republican ticket.

County-wide, there will be two Republicans and two Democrats on each ballot for the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Click here to learn more about them.
