Police Warn of Water Company Employee Impersonators

West Conshohocken Police said that two men allegedly told residents they were with Aqua to gain access to homes, but the company said no workers were in the area.

 

The West Conshohocken Police alerted residents on Facebook that two males were walking around Moorehead Avenue, allegedly posing as water company employees.

“It was confirmed from Aqua that there were no workers form their company in that area,” the post says.

The men were described as light-skinned and of middle-eastern descent.

According to police, one was allowed inside a residence but nothing was taken.

“Under no circumstance should you allow anyone inside your residence without confirmation of the company and you requesting them there,” the post continues.  “Call the company or the police immediately!”
