Why are you seeking elective office?
I ran for mayor to bring attention to safety in Conshohocken and there has been tremendous progress made in the last few years with much more still to come. Fayette Street has brand new traffic lights, new pedestrian crossings and will be seeing the installation of lighted mast arm crossings at 4th and 7th avenues in 2021. The Schuylkill River Trail received complete renovations through the county with brighter road markings, new paving, trail widening and upgraded signage. All SEPTA crossings in the borough were also painted a bright yellow to further bring attention to the tracks and trail. I hope to continue advocating for major traffic safety initiatives over the next four years.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Conshohocken saw historic flooding in September that gained national attention. I have an active record supporting Conshohocken's green and sustainable future, serving as council's liaison to the Environmental Advisory Council. With the passage of the Ready for 100% resolution, borough council and the EAC set Conshohocken on a path to sustainability by 2035. The Shade Tree Commission was also reinvigorated and planted 40 trees in 2019 and 80 trees in 2021. The borough also upgraded to full-sized recycling cans and redesigned our recycling standards to encourage more recycling by residents. I have proudly signed a number of executive proclamations including: Mayors for Clean Energy, the Community Clean Cars Declaration, Mayors for Solar Energy, and joined Conshohocken to the Climate Mayors initiative.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
My larger vision for Conshohocken includes continuing our progress on a number of fronts including: service-based community policing, supporting our residents, businesses and nonprofits through my #ConshyStrong initiatives as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring our strong non-discrimination ordinance makes our community welcoming and safe for all visitors and residents, working to include pets in our events and public spaces, and continuing to bring exciting programming to residents such as the Annual Conshohocken Arts Festival and Car Show.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Conshohocken now has the most updated, active and transparent Mayor’s office in our borough’s history. I can be contact through a public cell phone number, email, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Snapchat, regularly updated website, monthly e-newsletter and, of course, at in-person office hours at the Community Center. Staying connected with residents is my favorite part of this position.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
Be honest and genuine, always, and ensure that your word is your bond.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
