SEPTA Construction Vehicles Broken Into

The vehicles were parked at the Miquon Station.

Someone broke into three SEPTA-owned construction vehicles and stole a bag of tools out of one of them, while damaging one.

According to Whitemarsh Police, the incident happened sometime overnight on Dec. 26 into Dec. 27 at the Miquon SEPTA train station in the 1300 block of river road.

Stolen, was a red Husky brand duffel bag containing five Craftsman brand adjustable wrenches; two channel locks; two vice grips; and eight Craftsman ratchet wrenches. The total value of the stolen tools is about $150.

Someone also damaged one of the construction vehicles and smashed two windows of the construction foreman's truck.
