UPDATE: Father Shot in Head on I-76 in West Conshohocken
State police are investigating a domestic incident that allegedly resulted in a driver getting shot by his son.

The Pennsylvania State Police have released more details about a shooting that occurred in a vehicle on I-76 in West Conshohocken Tuesday evening.
According to a statement, at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday a man seated in the back of a 2010 white Buick Lacrosse shot the driver, his father, in the head while traveling westbound on the Schuykill Expressway near mile marker 332 in West Conshohocken.

The 42-year-old victim was treated by paramedics and taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and reported to be in critical but stable condition. The son was taken into custody at the Pennsylvania State Police’s barracks on Belmont Avenue in Philadelphia with charges pending.
The identities of the men involved have not been released.

A man is in the hospital for a gunshot wound and a suspect is in state police custody following a domestic incident that occurred Tuesday evening on I-76 in West Conshohocken.
According to information from the Pennsylvania State Police, a father was shot during an argument in a vehicle traveling westbound on the Schuylkill Expressway near mile marker 332. The westbound lanes were closed during the investigation, reopening at 8 p.m.
The suspect, a 22-year-old man, has not been identified as of 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. He is in custody at the State Police Troop K headquarters on Belmont Avenue in Philadelphia.
