Signs of Spring in Plymouth, Whitemarsh and Conshohocken

Your Local Editor's first sign of spring (with the exception of busting out her flip flops, which occured yesterday) has arrived.

The monstrous tree (that I believe to be a Saucer Magnolia) next to my apartment on North Lane in Whitemarsh is blooming - those small buds will turn into huge pink and white flowers, in arm's reach from my second-floor deck.
