The Spring Mill Fire Company in Whitemarsh has donated lightly used firefighting equipment to their counterparts in Ukraine.
WHITEMARSH TOWNSHIP, PA — Local firefighters are lending a helping hand to their counterparts in Ukraine as that European country continues to deal with public safety and humanitarian crises due to the ongoing war with Russia.
The Spring Mill Fire Company says that it is donating thousands of dollars' worth of lightly used gear to Ukrainian firefighters, with the company working with a firefighter in neighboring New Jersey to help get their gear and equipment over to Ukraine, according to a report on 6 ABC Action News.
