Attempted Prescription Theft, Car Break-in Reported in Whitemarsh, Police Say

Attempted Prescription Theft
A 65-year-old Drexel Hill woman reported to the Whitemarsh Police that she thought her son-in-law, of the 400 block of Center Avenue in Lafayette Hill, attempted to steal her prescription drugs.

According to the woman, her son-in-law has a history with drugs, and she believed that he attempted to steal oxycodone and morphine from her bed, behind the pillows in March. The woman said she walked in on her son-in law when she walked into her bedroom.
Theft From Motor Vehicle

A resident of the 100 block of Wildflower Drive in Plymouth Meeting reported $1,000 in items from his vehicle, according to the Whitemarsh Township Police.
According to the victim, the incident occurred overnight on March 19, when someone entered his unlocked vehicle, police said.
Items stolen included a cell phone. There are no suspects at this time, according to the police.
