Thousands Turn Out for Whitemarsh Township Day

Whitemarsh residents enjoyed fun and games—and great weather—at Miles Park on Saturday. Did we catch you in our lens?

There was something for everyone at this year's Whitemarsh Township Day, held Saturday from noon-5 p.m. at Miles Park.

"It's a great turnout this year, and we are lucky to have such amazing weather," said Whitemarsh Township Board of Supervisors Vice Chair Melissa Sterling.

It was a carnival-like atmosphere in a section of the park, with rides, inflatables, contests and more.

Local vendors sold their wares in the craft market, and area restaurants provided food.

Community groups were on hand, as well as municipal offices, such as the Whitemarsh Township Police, Spring Mill Fire Co. and Whitemarsh Township Parks and Recreation.
