Vandals Who Caused $12,000 In Damages To Conshohocken Park Arrested: Police
Tips from the public ultimately led to the arrests, police said.
CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Two teenagers who caused more than $12,000 in damages to a public park in Conshohocken have been arrested, police announced Thursday.
The incident occurred Feb. 21 at Aubrey Collins Park on 250 E. Elm Street.
The teens hurled rocks, boulders, and bricks onto the playing surface of the basketball court, causing extensive, serious damage, officials said.

Police released video surveillance footage of the incident to the public. "Valuable tips and diligent police work" ultimately led to the identification of the two suspects by March 28, officials said.
Both teens were charged with institutional vandalism and referred to Montgomery County's Juvenile Court.
