Video Captures Man Stealing From Conshohocken Mailbox: Police

Local residents are being urged to use indoor mail drops as authorities search for the suspect.

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — A man recently stolen numerous pieces of mail from the USPS mailbox outside the Conshohocken Post Office, police said. The incident was captured by video surveillance.

The incident occurred back on Sunday, April 13 during the early morning hours.

The man is shown standing before the mailbox and untying several parcels of mail while glancing around furtively.

It's not clear exactly what type of mail the man stole, nor what his motive may be.

The man is in his 20s or 30s, has a dark jacket and black Columbia shirt, a dark mustache, and a light blue medical mask, officials said.

Police are urging residents to use the indoor mail drops for the short term due to the recent thefts.
