Volunteer Firefighter is ‘Always Out There Helping Someone’

Richard Moser, a long-time volunteer fire fighter and captain at the Centre Square Fire Company, volunteers his time to fight fires and help raise cancer awareness, according to Lonnie Myers.

“He is always out there helping someone,” Myers said.
Moser began volunteering as a fire fighter at the age of 16 with the Swedeland Fire Company in Upper Merion Township.

Moser, who works full-time job, also volunteers as the president of Community Service Fighting Cancer (C.S.F.C), which helped lead the charge to turn several local fire apparatus pink to raise awareness and fight cancer.
