Whitemarsh Man Cited for Second Animal Offense

This is the second citation this year for Joseph Battisto, of Church Road.

 

Joseph Battisto, of the 600 block of Church Road in Flourtown, was cited for “animals and fowl at large” after an incident on Feb. 27, which is his second alleged animal-related offense this year.

Whitemarsh Police Department responded to Redcoat Drive in the Flourtown section of Whitemarsh for a report of loose dogs in the area, police said.

A victim said that Battisto’s two dogs entered his yard, and that this has been an ongoing issue with Battisto.  Battisto was cited with "animal and fowl at large" as a result of the incident, according to court documents.

In January, Battisto was cited for "dog at large” and plead guilty, paying a fine of over $100.00
