Whitemarsh Police Arrest Man Wanted In Lower Pottsgrove For Domestic Assault
Whitemarsh police arrested a man last week who had a bench warrant out of Lower Pottsgrove Township for allegedly assaulting a woman.
WHITEMARSH, PA — Local police have arrested a man who was wanted in western Montgomery County for assault.
Tremainie Donta Price was taken into custody by Whitemarsh officers on Sept. 22, according to a report on the department's Crimewatch website.
The report does not specify how it came to be that the Whitemarsh officers came into contact with Price, but only said he was picked up on a bench warrant that had been issued by Lower Pottsgrove Township Police back on Dec. 29, 2020.

According to a report in The Sanatoga Post, Price had been sought by Lower Pottsgrove Police for an alleged assault on a woman during a domestic disturbance mere minutes after midnight on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2020.
The Whitemarsh Crimewatch report states that Price had allegedly assaulted the victim while they were inside her vehicle while driving in Lower Pottsgrove Township.

Following his arrest in Whitemarsh, Price was transported to the Lower Pottsgrove Police headquarters.
After an arraignment on the charges he was taken to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility where he was awaiting a preliminary hearing, the record shows.
Price is facing charges of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.
