Whitemarsh to Hold Hearing on Zoning Amendments

The Whitemarsh Township Board of Supervisors is holding a public hearing on Thursday at 7 p.m. regarding “minor housekeeping” amendments to the township’s zoning code.
Changes to the zoning code include the definition of zoning terms, such as “building area” and “building footprint,” “family" and others. Additional changes include slight variations to the Heavy Industrial and Village Commercial districts, among others.

Other proposed resolutions include considering an amendment to Parks and Recreation Rules and Regulations permitting leashed dogs in township parks, and considering an amendment to sewer regulations with the Ambler Joint Wastewater Treatment System.
