It Looks Like One-Party Democratic Control Might Continue In Whitemarsh Township
The 2 Democrats running for the Whitemarsh Township Board of Supervisors were in the lead as of Wednesday night, when results were updated.

WHITEMARSH, PA — It appears that the Democrats on the ballot for the township board of supervisors may ultimately win the race, which would solidify one-party control in Whitemarsh.
According to the most recent election figures released by Montgomery County, the two Democrats on the ballot — Francis McCusker, Jr. and Patrice Turenne — had a significant lead over Republicans Fran O'Donnell and Christi O'Donoghue Rotelle.
Voters were to choose two candidates in the race for two open seats on the panel.

A win by McCusker and Turenne would mean an all-Democrat five-member board of supervisors.
The county continues to count outstanding mail-in ballots, so a true final tally will not be known until after that count is done.
